This time around, we pay homage to the hustle and grind of the college athlete. And by college athlete, we mean the athletes who work hard for that athletic and academic medal. The ones who bring the glory despite all the gore and guts they had to go through just to make their schoolmates cheer out loud and make their schools proud. Them and everything in between.

We bring you the MVPs: Melissa Gohing, “The Ninja” libero of the DLSU Lady Spikers, and Sudan “Superman” Daniel once of the San Beda Red Lions.

What makes an athlete? That’s easy to answer. Skill. Talent. What have you. But what strengthens an athlete? Find out from the brains and brawns behind Focus Athletics, and find out the threads in between from sportswear design giant TITAN X LGR.

Let’s not forget though, those individuals (like Amis of The Amazing Playground) and teams (like Ryan and Garovs of EWWS) who are athletes in their own fields. Artists that bring an old art form and make it newer, better, different (Hi there, Wiji of The Curious Studio).

The chosen few whose skill and ability withstands the pressures of today’s #trending tastes, but still coming out at the top of their game without sacrificing originality and soul.

Speaking of soul, we present to you a couple of musical and lyrical poets of local music today: Rjay, Alex, and Abra, the deranged poets from LDP, plus we’ve got Brian, Terence, Timothy, Jason and Jeff of BRISOM.

There’s also one game that everyone can play but not everyone, it seems, have been coming out on top. We’re talking about the game of love and we bring you a whole new insight on how to win the game from the MVPs themselves, Ramon Bautista and Jun Sabayton.
