INSULAR LANGUIDITY is a 4-day event of activities such as Artist Talks, Workshops, Concerts, and Parties presented by Fete dela WSK, Greenpapaya Arts Project, 98B Arts Collaboratory, and Subflex from December 12 to 15. Expect forays into noise, Kraut, techno, IDM, plunderphonics, electroacoustic musical traditions, juxtaposed visuals delving into with the frothing foundations of abstract video art, and things so weird or new we can’t even name them yet. This artists will challenge your deepest, most cherished beliefs about the true nature of music and why they listen to it in the first place. Revel in the noise, get lost in the space between the sounds, and take a challenging, visceral journey to basic human essentials at the core of music–its communicative capacity and emotional resonance. Performers include One Man Nation aka Tara X (Singapore), Marko Kosnik (Slovenia), House of Natural Fiber (Indonesia), Kingdom Of Rebel (Indonesia) and local acts Bent Lynchpin, Gangan Ensemble, CJ Wasu, many more.
