TARSIUS treats their fans for an awesome 2012 with a FREE DOWNLOAD for their New Year Promo. The tandem of Diego Mapa (Vocalist of Pedicab) and Jay Gapasin (Drummer of Radio Active Sago Project) released their first album “Primate” earlier this year on CDs and a limited mint-green vinyl pressing. On stage, Diego pounds on a sampler and occasionally toys with a choice synth. Jay plays drums and tweaks a model kit synth called a Gakken attached to another sampler. In result, a psychedelic-electronic experience traveling out of genres from hip hop, big beat, house, jungle, and indie dance bridged with soundscapes. In every show, they bang it out like a band. However, Tarsius is also a DJ with drums. The band got their name from the smallest monkey in world found in Bohol, Philippines, the Tarsier.
