Last August 29, the Ateneo Association of Communication Majors hosted the RED party for Ateneans, communication majors, and media-interested individuals alike.  The event, which was held at Area 05 Superclub, Tomas Morato, Quezon City relaunched ACOMM as the premiere media organization in the Ateneo. The event aimed to refurbish its identity and educate the public about what the new ACOMM is all about.

Students were presented with the launch and introduction of the organization,  along with the various plans and projects ACOMM has in store for the upcoming year. Moreover, the event highlighted the launch of the new ACOMM logo to further promote its renewed identity. The RED Party also featured the organization’s dance troupe  ACOMMpany, which prepared a short segment for the party attendees. A mini-fashion show was also held, promoting one of the party’s sponsors, Pony, who distributed giveaways to lucky raffle winners. Likewise, partners Grabtaxi and Zalora distributed giveaways and discount coupons for all the partygoers. NineOne productions, an up-and-coming production house, worked with ACOMM in documenting every moment of excitement throughout the night.  The party was closed by an open dance floor, led by D.J.s Rammy Bitong and Danceplaycreate.

The RED party was definitely a night of opportunity – for the members to bond and have fun; for media interested individuals to share their passion and interest, as well as partake in the celebration; most importantly for ACOMM, to share and celebrate their renewed vision and purpose in their involvement in the field of media.
