The Philippine Junior Marketing Association together with one of the leading integrated communications agencies in the Philippines –Havas Media Ortega, extends their unconditional thanks to the record-breaking 6,700 attendees who took part in the biggest Marketing-Advertising convention of the Academic Year held last February 8, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

To start off the event on an electrifying note, the iconic rock star Rico Blanco, took the stage to serenade the crowd with his hit song “Time for You”.

The attendees were indeed overjoyed when host, the Ateneo Lady Eagle Alumna and current Team Captain of the Petron Blazers, Gretchen Ho set foot on stage to introduce the first set of speakers.

First in line was Leigh Reyes, President/Chief Creative Officer at Lowe Philippines and a renowned personality in the field of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations, who left the crowd motivated and inspired as she shared her intuition in making the art and taking it into a whole new creative level.

“Learn by Failing – FLEARN.” – Ms. Leigh Reyes

The floor was then passed to another Creative Genius, the Executive Creative Director of Arena Media, Mr. Lawin Bulatao. He imparted thoughts focusing on the “Art of Crafting” and how essential it is to produce a craft not less than perfection.

He closed Session 1 with a remarkable quote, “Craft transforms something irrefutable to something irresistible.” – Mr. Lawin Bulatao

To keep the crowd’s momentum for Session 2, Gretchen Ho bids them farewell as she gave her stand to one of the most demanded Radio DJs in the country, Papa Jack.

Session 2 starts out with the Chief Creative Officer of one of the country’s highly-acclaimed creatives in the Publicis network – Publicis Jimenez Basic, Brandie Tan. He placed emphasis on the importance of setting goals at a “Global Perspective” and never be afraid to fail.

“If the work is made well, the world will watch it too.” – Mr. Brandie Tan

To wrap up the line of creative geniuses was the brother of preceding speaker and Executive Creative Director of McCann Worldwide, Budjette Tan.

He then closed the session by equipping the attendees the significance of research to be able to tell a story that is extraordinary and effective.

“Don’t sell a product, sell a promise.” – Mr. Budjette Tan

Truly, The Philippine Junior Marketing Association is immensely thankful for the presence of these creative geniuses in this year’s MADWORLD: “Unraveling the Creative Genius, who have partaken great knowledge for the junior marketing and advertising community to take hold.
