The Outlet People or T.O.P., known for bringing us Nike Forum, Nike Women, Nike Factory Store and Center of Gravity (CoG), announces the debut of its new retail concept store, Capital. Capital, which will be located in Ayala Mall’s UP Town Center, is set to change the sneaker game as they stock up on hard hitting labels such as Nike, adidas Originals, Asics Tiger, New Balance, and Puma to name a few. European streetwear accessory brands: Hype and Cayler & Sons will be available exclusively at Capital.
To fuel the excitement of their much awaited opening, Capital launched a subtle activation last May 7 in which the primary objective wasn’t so much to make themselves known but more so to get to know the people.
Drop boxes and a voting booth were set up in front of the in-the-works Capital store in U.P. Town Center where mall goers were invited to vote and rank their top 2 favorite brands amongst their choices: Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Puma, Fred Perry, and Asics which are some of the brands Capital will be carrying.
Voters—deemed as Capital’s citizens—were then encouraged to follow Capital’s social media pages on Facebook and Instagram @Capital_PH, to find out the lucky raffle winners. Prizes include caps, bags, and even sneakers, will be granted to the winners on the store’s Grand Opening. This votation process has since then continued online, so don’t miss out and make sure to visit their Facebook page for the mechanics.

Grounded in the sneaker culture, the Capital experience goes beyond regular shoe shopping. “In Capital, enthusiasts can revel in their love for kicks. They will encounter personnel who share their interests and understand the story behind every shoe release. Capital is a place to lounge in and interact with individuals who are brought together by their common passion for sneakers.” Capital is starting a new shoe movement.
At present, The Outlet People has confirmed two additional store locations in Metro Manila to open later this year located in Circuit Makati and Uptown, BGC, Taguig.
Capital store UP Town Center, Quezon City is set to open on June 2015.
