JanSport, the original backpack company since 1967, is continuing its direction to seek and collaborate with world-recognized brands that are connecting with youth culture through skate, surf, music and art. For Fall 2015, JanSport continues on its mission as it unites with streetwear brand, LRG, as well as surf and stone lifestyle brand, HippyTree.
JanSport and LRG pride themselves on being true originators. The two iconic brands partnered to create a premium three-piece collection designed for the creative lifestyle enthusiast. This collection features the Right Pack (SRP 4,990) and Sinder 15 (SRP 2,990), both in limited edition fabrications, as well as a new silhouette for Fall 2015, the Iron Sight (SRP 6,890).
All three packs feature reflective details, including trims, zipper pulls, and co-branded labels. The Right Pack and Iron Sight include ripstop sailcloth; a top-of-the-line fabric typically used for high performance outdoor packs. The Right Pack also includes a signature suede leather bottom, internal padded sleeve for a 15-inch laptop, padded soft lined tablet pocket and embroidered web haul handle.
The Iron Sight features a waterproof, heat-welded seam, main compartment that can be filled with ice and beverages to quench a traveling party’s thirst. Additional features include a side access 15-inch laptop pocket, soft lined zippered tablet pocket and side zippered stash pockets. Fast, light and compact, the Sinder 15 features a cinch top closure, breathable mesh shoulder straps and LRG-designed exterior graphics.
HippyTree
With HippyTree, a nature inspired surf and outdoor apparel company dedicated to creating products that embody the “Surf & Stone” life, JanSport releases The Westward Collection, which was inspired by a mutual passion for outside adventure.
The Collection includes limited editions of the Watchtower (SRP 5,990), Hatchet (SRP4,990) and a new silhouette, the Outbreak (SRP 3,490). All three packs feature color blocks of navy and brown and interior printed liners, pulling from nature-inspired illustrations that are seen on HippyTree Fall 2015 apparel and accessories.
The collection features the limited edition Watchtower features a graphic printed liner, an internal roll top TPU lined wet zone pocket with drainage grommets and a removable accessories pouch. Meanwhile, the limited edition Hatchet features a graphic printed liner, an internal roll top TPU lined wet zone pocket with drainage grommets and water bottle pockets. The limited edition Outbreak features include a graphic printed liner, front zippered insulated cooler pocket, deluxe organizer and water bottle pocket.
