REEF, a global active lifestyle brand that’s all about the sun, surf, and sandals inspired and founded on the surfer lifestyle, launched their essentials for the Perfect Summer last April 14, 2016 at Uptown Mall, BGC. The perfect brand for a country of endless summer, REEF showcased their newest products and apparel in a La Jolla-inspired, California summer party with free-flowing craft beers and healthy crisps at every table.
Guests, joined by host and brand ambassadors Paolo Soler and Mara Lopez, were treated to an exclusive preview of REEF’s new collections including the latest Reef Rovers sneakers — Reef Rovers TX and Reef Rovers XT, pairs perfect for outdoor activities such as trekking and hiking. During the event, guests were also given the chance to try on sneakers with Reef Swellular Technology, sneakers made up with three layers of tech: the first, a super-soft, contoured Swellular foam deck for comfort. The second, a medium-density Swellular mid-sole for support, and third, REEF’s signature Swellular high-density rubber outsole for ultimate comfort, support, and traction.

During the event, REEF also awarded the winners of their #ReefPerfectSummer Video contest, with winners winning over 20,000 pesos worth of both cash and prizes. There was also a quick beer drinking contest, dominated by bad-ass chicks.
The California surf-inspired chill-out was capped off with beats from DJ, artist, model, and CLAVEL-featured Divine Maitland-Smith.
