GUESS Originals, an initiative developed by GUESS and AWGE to partner with leading icons at the forefront of fashion, entertainment, art and design, returns with a new exciting capsule collection in conjunction with multi-disciplined global recording artist, A$AP Rocky.

Inspired once again by vintage pieces from the GUESS archives, GUESS Originals x A$AP Rocky is back by popular demand. The new “GUESS Club” collection is packed with the collaboration’s signature stripes and offers a range of jewel tones for Spring. The capsule unites timeless GUESS designs with a contemporary flair. But while the first GUESS Originals x A$AP Rocky collection featured mostly unisex styles, GUESS Club will launch many pieces exclusively for women. A$AP Rocky’s fond childhood memories of GUESS clothing combined with his vision of modernizing vintage items with new colorways results in a unique twist.

“My relationship with A$AP Rocky and GUESS has greatly evolved due to a unique synergy between both of our brands” said Paul Marciano, GUESS Founder and Chief Creative Officer. “This season, the collaboration returns with another denim-heavy collection injected with quintessential 80s and 90s influences seen in oversized denim jackets and logo-centric styles. Rocky’s artistic vision has revitalized these iconic silhouettes with unexpected colors, designs and patterns.”

EITHER U IN OR U OUT” said A$AP Rocky. “GUESS Club plays off the traditional clubhouse infrastructure, from the colorways to the products, even down to the passwords, this capsule collection displays the manchild within myself, A$AP Rocky; so have fun kids.”

The Spring “GUESS Club” collection is led by classic hits such as high and low-rise bell-bottom jeans in light to medium washes, oversized denim jackets, and classic logo tees. Matching cut-off denim shorts and cropped denim jackets are given pops of color with mint green, baby blue and powder pink panels added to the edges, sleeves and pockets. Logo tees with stacked stripes in jewel tones are emblazoned with “$” in “GUE$$” across the front of the shirt as a nod to the popular collaborator and are fresh, modern iterations of items from the GUESS archives. The capsule’s unisex pieces include oversized ringer tees and baggy light-wash denim jackets offered in two different fits that are each embroidered with an iconic GUESS triangle logo from the 90s.

Led by A$AP Rocky, the visuals for the campaign were shot and directed by his creative group, AWGE.

The GUESS Originals x A$AP Rocky “GUESS Club” Spring Collection will be available in Manila this July 2017.
