Titan store, Vertis North releases Air Jordan I Gatorade’s, ending the year on a high note. The Gatorade’s take the retro Jordan’s in a completely new direction, one any brand rarely takes with any of their shoes–bright and bold.
The Like Mike’s came in all pure triple colorways: Cool Blue, Grape, (Cyber) Lemon Lime, and Orange Peel, dubbed as the Gatorade Collection. The year couldn’t be ending any better for these retro bad boys.
This Jordan release comes as refreshing as they are bold both in color and in style as few shoes look as good like this. The Air Jordan I model was chosen as an homage to the shoes used in the classic “23 vs. 29” Gatorade ad which saw a young Michael Jordan play 1-on-1 against a veteran MJ–complete with trash talk.
Collectors and shoewear rockers won’t be just left with bright and cell shaded. Their crowd favored Air Jordan VI’s are also getting the Gatorade treatment. Which also comes in children’s sizes. To, “be like Mike,” isn’t just for grownup ballers.
Seeing the lightning bolts on the brightly-hued sneakers is a welcome addition and solidifies the collection as a Gatorade collaboration with the Jordan Brand. The colors are self-explanatory as they were chosen from Gatorade’s popular flavors, which are also what the colorways were individually named after.
The Air Jordan I’s came in adult sizes and a children’s size for the orange colorway priced at Php 8,845 and Php 6.795 respectively.
The Jordan 6’s will be priced at Php 11,095 via online, all Nike branches, and Titan stores
