Last week, multi-brand retailer Sole Academy opened its official concept store, Think Tank. Located right outside its Bonifacio Highstreet store, Think Tank is a new space that will feature future collections of various brands. It’s very first exhibit showcased Adicolors.

For its inaugural exhibit, Adicolor launch created a significant buzz. The place perfectly housed the popping colors of the 70’s, even brought the nostalgic vibe. Think Tank has become a time portal of hues and colors.

Adidas goes all retro as they revived its most iconic, Adicolor Collection. In line with 70’s culture of popping colors, this collection begins with primary colors now referred to as Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red and Sun Yellow – originally seen in Adidas’ 1980s collection.

Pairing the colors to represent the playful generation of today, the four hues are carefully selected as a starting point of overall inspiration SS18 collection. Taking inspiration from the retro past, classic styles were reimagined to perfectly suit the spectrum of today, the style remains but with innovative materials — of fabrics and refined fits. Style and fit are carefully curated to go beyond gender binaries.

The idea to go beyond gender binaries is well reflected in the campaign photographed by Charlie Engman, and directed by David Lane. Together, the duo created an output that is both fun and humorous that portrays gender-neutrality and diversity.

Adicolor is perfect for the people of today that are not afraid to make fun and have fun more seriously.

The Adicolor Collection is now available at Adidas Originals stores, retail partners and at adidas.com/adicolor.
