The name Vince Staples won’t ring as many bells as names like Kanye West or A$AP Rocky in the music or fashion industry. But in both those worlds, Vince Staples deserves to be a household name. He is by no means a rookie having released two studio albums and a handful of mixtapes already at just the ripe age of 24, and neither is this his first collaboration with Converse.

Converse continues its foray into collaborations with musicians having another collab drop so early in the year. Fresh from a Tyler, the Creator release, they come out yet again with another rapper crossover. A staple in the Converse and rap game, Vince Staples helped the sneaker brand give birth to the Chuck 70s.

Staples, who has been a Converse player since childhood attributes his love for Converse to his West Coast influences.

The Chuck 70s pays respects to Vince Staples’s June 2017 album “Big Fish Theory” with its bright oranges and dark blues. It even has “Vince Staples” embroidered on the medial collar.

These Converse x Vince Staples Chuck 70s are available in Commonwealth PH. PHP 5,990 for high cuts and PHP 5,430 for lows.
