We Drool from Makati now enters the North!
We Drool recently dropped Capsule Japonika at Hidden Space in Cubao Expo. The limited collection features the brand’s connection and its relationship with some of their favorite Japanese food and how to eat them within the bounds of We Drool’s simplicity and distinct neatness.
The message behind the designs for this collection are best traced back to a Japanese proverb that translates, “It is not what you eat, but who you eat it with that matters.” Japonika was the child of artists and friends, and just like anything else, the capsule was welcomed through celebration.
The launch party was kickstarted by Muii, followed by Pure Mind Quiet Heart, crowd’s favorite food meme rapper, then the house was also graced by Project Alcohol, Switch Sonza, Pogiboi, Kartell’em, and Wafster.
Indeed, it is not what you eat, but who you eat it with that matters.
