The 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend just concluded with Team LeBron winning over Team Giannis, 178-164, in this year’s All-Star Game. While the weekend is meant to celebrate the league’s brightest talents, it also presents events off the court, highlighted by performances, exhibits, and product releases.

Queen City was packed with different affairs, one of which is the annual All-Star Technology Summit. It is a conference that tackles the game’s future in a world of evolving technology. Top league executives attended the event that discussed the relationship between athletes and tech, and what’s in store for the fans of the future.

The 20th year of the summit opened with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver presenting the “smart jersey of the future.” In the clip above, Silver introduced the new smart product by changing the Stephen Curry jersey into a Michael Jordan jersey by using an app on a smartphone. The full customizable experience is slated by the year 2038, giving fans the option to change the names and numbers on their NBA jerseys.
