With the goal of feasible tourism, the Department of Tourism recently unveiled its fresh take on its campaign slogan, “It’s More Fun in the Philippines.”

The 2019 “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” campaign presents tweaks on the logo, along with a new font. The new logo was introduced as “a weave with each color representing a uniquely Filipino product,” replacing the old logo that had the Philippine map. On the other hand, a new custom-made typeface called “Barabara” was created to replace the old “Harabara” font. It is based on the Filipino-style lettering commonly seen on jeepney route placards.

While popular tourist destinations like Palawan, Boracay, and Siargao are commonly visited, other tourist spots are being rehabilitated. The Department of Tourism is expecting 8.2 million in foreign tourist arrivals compared to the 7.4 million target from the previous year.
