This season, adidas Originals partners up with iconic American streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club for a special collaborative release, creating exclusive editions of the shoe designed by Billionaire Boys Club’s original founder, Pharrell.
The Spring/Summer 2019 release presents two new takes on the popular Hu NMD silhouette, elevating the shoe’s distinctive design with an all-over application of Billionaire Boys Club’s distinctive Digi-Plaid pattern across the upper. Constructed from a premium knitted textile, the shoe is accented with suede overlays and lace loop/heel cage elements, placed atop a classic NMD Boost™ midsole with a rugged trail outsole.
The shoe is then finished with embroidered text across the forefoot in keeping with many of Pharrell’s adidas Originals collaborations, reading ‘Heart’ and ‘Mind’ across the right and left foot, respectively. Finishing touches include graphic placements on the tongue and heel and special edition laces, creating a truly elevated edition of one of Pharrell’s most popular footwear creations.
The adidas x Billionaire Boys Club Hu NMD Plaid retails for PHP13,000 and is now available in adidas Online and adidas Originals Highstreet.
