National Geographic has been inspiring the explorers in all of us for the past 132 years. To celebrate the milestone, Vans announces the Vans x National Geographic collection featuring footwear and apparel that’ll ignite the adventurer in you.

From discovering the Titanic wreckage, excavating the ruins of Machu Picchu, to leading the first American expedition to the summit of Mount Everest, Nat Geo has been the pioneer of storytelling and documenting historic moments like these for audiences around the globe. Sharing a commitment to pushing creative boundaries and champion individuality resonates with both brands and with an appreciation for the environment, the materials utilized in the new collection include organic cotton canvas uppers and recycled PET shoelaces and packaging.

For the collection, unique National Geographic images and logos are featured on Vans’ six classic silhouettes–including the Sk8-Hi Reissue 138 featuring Nat Geo’s iconic yellow border logo alongside the recognizable Vans Sidestripe; the Era with an all-over print of some of Nat Geo’s most iconic magazine covers of the past; Old Skools showcasing the Mexican grey wolf alongside the red-eyed tree frog; and more designs on different silhouettes featuring photos of nature and wildlife.

The release also includes apparel, with styles including National Geographic Society anorak, t-shirt, long-sleeved cropped tee, twill ball cap, and and crossbody bag.

Join Vans in celebrating National Geographic’s adventurous spirit and legacy of storytelling through the Vans x National Geographic collection, which will be available at select Vans Concept Stores starting June 22. For more info about the collection, check out Vans.com/NatGeo.
