Just like what Katy Perry said in one of her songs, “I’ll make it like your birthday every day… Give you something good to celebrate.” Adonis Production House embodies this sentiment by bringing joy and happiness to the crowd through their weekly drag brunches at BAKSILOG. Their message is clear – there shouldn’t be a need for a special occasion to celebrate because every day is worthy of celebration.
Last September 24, Adonis Production House marked a momentous milestone as they celebrated their first anniversary of hosting the beloved drag brunch show, BAKSILOG. The party took place at Tipsy Pig, and it was a truly unforgettable event filled with glitz, glamour, and mind-blowing performances. The anniversary show surpassed all expectations, with a packed venue buzzing with excitement.
The festivities began with the magnetic presence of Precious Paula Nicole, who set the tone for a brunch filled with dazzling entertainment. The audience was hooked from the start, eagerly awaiting the performances of renowned drag queens. Throughout the day, the crowd was treated to a series of jaw-dropping acts from some of the most talented drag queens in the city.
Brigiding and Viñas Deluxe, known for their captivating stage presence, delivered a show-stopping performance that left the audience in awe. Their energy and charisma electrified the room, raising the bar for the rest of the show. The celebration also featured Queens from Drag Race Philippines Season 2, including Arizona Brandy, Captivating Katkat, Bernie, and Miss Jade So. Each queen showcased their unique style and creative expression.
One of the highlights of the show was a mesmerizing lip-sync performance by Captivating Katkat and Bernie. Their talented rendition of “The Power” by Snap showcased their outstanding lip sync skills and left the audience spellbound. The lively host, Buknoy Gonzales, added his own flair and infectious energy, ensuring that the show was an absolute blast from start to finish.
BAKSILOG’s first anniversary was an extraordinary day that celebrated not only the talent of the performers but also the vibrant drag culture in the city. It was a testament to the thriving and supportive community. Adonis Production House continues to remind us that every day is an opportunity to embrace joy, celebrate life, and indulge in the extraordinary world of drag.
