GOD 3 Post Event

They say that nostalgia is quite a drug to get hooked into, and when you pair it up with live beats from the Metro’s fastest rising hip-hop acts along with a rabid yet welcoming community full of thriftusiasts and enjoyers of all things vintage, it’s bound to be an addicting feeling. Season Pass and TMP Industries have managed to capitalize on this craze once again with their third and biggest installment of Good Old Days yet,  providing an abundance of activities last October 29 in Pasig City.

The crowd entered the Metrotent Convention Center in their best fits looking to make a statement, with hundreds of clothing concessionaires scattered around selling vintage pieces and fashionable accessories to level-up the audience’s pormahans that reflect their respective personalities. Figurines, memorabilia, stickers, and plushies were also on-hand to fuel the audiences’ nostalgia which ranges from lovable anime and movie characters to iconic musicians. Spotted also were several food stalls that satiated the cravings of the participants throughout the day, while a tattoo booth served those wanting to scratch the itch of being spontaneous yet dedicating their bodies for a keepsake lasting a lifetime.

Of course, there were also photobooths for those wanting to show off their ukay hauls and street attires in the hopes of getting that sweet clout or just plainly being loud and proud. We at CLAVEL even had one ourselves as we also gave out some neat stickers and exclusive merchandise for our lucky winners.

Who can also forget the solid line-up of rap and rhymes during the latter portion of GOD3, as booming artists E-Kove and P4bl0 among others blazed up the stage during the first batch of performances, while Tu$ Brother$ and Kartelle’em dropped equally lit sets that kept the raucous crowd wanting more. The atmosphere in the convention center reached a fever pitch when main eventers Hev Abi and O $ide Mafia (both fresh from featured performances in Spotify’s KALYE X the night before) soaked in the limelight to deliver intense bars that even incited moshpits to form near the stage.

Season Pass continues to lead the way as not just a stage for merchandise and musicians, but also as a gateway to create bonds between people whether or not you enjoy the thrifting scene. A guaranteed staple in the community for years to come, thriftusiasts will be seeing more good days in the future. If you’d want to know when the next installment of Good Old Days will be and where it will be heading next, don’t forget to give their Facebook and Instagram a follow.
