Tapping into the relentless drive for progression that defines skate culture, Vans releases a new chapter in its global storytelling with “Always Pushing.” This authentic initiative, inspired from the passion and freedom synonymous with skateboarding, spotlights skate crews and cultural catalysts from around the world, featuring a creative touch by ALEX/2TONE and tunes by Paris Texas.
There’s a universal truth in the mantra of “Always Pushing” that extends beyond the skatepark. It’s about constantly moving forward, respecting the past while boldly shaping the future in pursuits ranging from art to music. Vans’ latest storytelling venture encapsulates this spirit, urging its community to embrace fearless progression and collectively steer culture in a direction that resonates with their visions.
The project brings together creatives from Paris, LA, and Tokyo. Developed in partnership with ALEX/2TONE, a co-founder of Born X Raised and a visionary creative. Skate legends Lizzie Armanto, Elijah Berle, and Tony Alva are on board, with Paris Texas providing the soundtrack, and the creative input of Atiba Jefferson and Jahlil Nzinga. This diverse team, accompanied by skaters, BMXers, and creatives worldwide, exemplifies the ethos of “Always Pushing.”
