“We want people to hear about gigs in Asia, and provide a platform which people can depend on for extensive, reliable, and convenient discovery of live gigs. I’ve not found a Filipino who doesn’t have music in his or her blood, so this expansion to the Philippines is really exciting for us. We want to play a significant part in growing a greater following for artists, venues and the music industry here.” said Clarence Chan, Founder of Bandwagon.

Some key features of the site include:

Bandwagon currently lists over 100 gigs, 200 local artists, and more than 50 venues in Manila alone. Since going live, the numbers continue to grow as artists, music venues and production outfits can easily key in their information, photos, videos and gig details using Bandwagon’s function.

“It’s amazing how good the reception has been in the short time we launched,” shared Camille Castillo, country rep for Bandwagon Philippines. “We encourage everyone to check out the site and submit their artist profiles and gig information.”

To launch the site, Bandwagon Philippines has partnered with Wanderland Music Festival, happening this April 25, 2015. As a special treat for festival attendees, Bandwagon will be presenting “THE BANDWAGON: Festival Bus to Wanderland”. This one-of-a-kind festival bus will bring passengers on an exploration of live music venues in Manila, record store hunting, Wanderland festival perks, an intimate live set onboard by Filipino band Birdforms, and hosted by Francis Brew Reyes, one of the most recognized and respected figures in the music industry.

Bandwagon is offering special rates to Wanderland attendees.
