Taking on the challenge of using post-consumer and post-industrial waste is what Converse Renew is all about. With a goal of developing sustainable products, Converse has released its latest take on its Renew line with the Converse Renew Denim Chuck 70.
Released at Case Study Atelier, the Converse Renew Denim Chuck 70 utilizes used denim jeans and turns the uncycled textiles into a Chuck 70. This approach of inventive new methods of manufacturing serves as a solution to give tons of waste a second life.
During the release of the shoe, Hazel Roldan of KatHa Lifestyle Store lead the conversation of sustainable and recycled apparel materials and the struggles of the environmental cost of fashion.
