In today’s time where the shopping experience has evolved, a new vibrant community and landscape of flea markets, pop-ups, and conventions have emerged as the new platform for small businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs to thrive and grow! And now, we’re saying adios to the mundane shopping experience. Consumers want more dynamic and genuine businesses located at more adventurous and non-typical shopping spaces.

Now let’s dive into what you can do to start on your merchant journey.

Step # 1 Get Inspired ✨🌈

Find that burning desire to show off your skills, talents, and creativity to the world, and explore the various events you can join in for your business’ first ever hard launch. Watch out for updates, and schedules for registration, and think about what you want to sell (i.e., stickers, print-outs, apparel, etc.).

Here’s a list of events we love that you might love too!

BUT don’t worry about making a splash, your first ever experience doesn’t have to be groundbreaking. You can always start small, and in case you need a helping hand, don’t hesitate to reach out to organizers and your fellow artists!

Step # 2 Preparation is key 🔑🤩

Now that you’re fired up with inspiration and are filled with ideas, let’s see how you can take it to the next level! First, get your portfolio ready, make sure to use high-quality photos showcasing actual photos of your merch. Now, think about how you want your booth to look, maybe create a mockup or a sketch as a guide. Don’t forget to come up with some promo materials, and set up your payment methods and get all the business tools you might need beforehand, and lastly, make sure to prepare some type of packaging to keep your products all wrapped up nicely and secure for transportation, and for your customers’ purchase!

Step # 3 Game Day  🎮🗓️

It’s D-Day. Time to shine and show off your kick-ass merch! First things first, engage with potential customers, and make them feel free and welcome at your booth. But hey, don’t forget to have a blast too! You’re here to have some fun, so soak in the atmosphere, and connect with your fellow artists and merchants, and most of all embrace the experience. Go get that bread!

You’re set and ready to kick ass! We can’t wait to see you set on this journey.
