We had a bit of a special preview courtesy of our friends from Uniqlo a couple of days ago for the latest Uniqlo U collection. Hands down this is a special one, pouring what are ten years worth of design evolution and constant innovation.

In this CLAVEL feature, we dive a little deeper into their 2026 Fall/Winter Collection and why you should grab a piece or two for yourself.

Uniqlo U has long been an accessible take into trying on clothes made by luxury designers without the over the top prices, plus a way for Uniqlo to cater to the more style-focused crowd. This year sees their 10th Anniversary Collection after ten years led by French luxury designers and co-artistic directors Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran.

You’ll see the different variations of fabrics and textures plus the different combinations that can be made whether using pieces from its collection or even outside of it. Above all the design philosophy of this Future LifeWear collection is to move forward one’s personal sense of fashion, creating standout pieces for everyday, making you elevate your sense of self.

The haul for the women-centric pieces finds its balance in the contrast between softness and structure, from the compact Hybrid Down Short Jacket to one of our faves in the Coated Blouson giving form, function, and real headturning energy.

On the men’s side, functionality becomes another avenue for individuality, with everyday pieces reworked through a more distinctive lens. The Wool Blend Short Coat pairs cold-resistant construction with workwear influences, while the modernized Fishtail Parka brings utility into a more personal expression of style.

Honestly though, all the pieces can be rocked by any gender regardless, leaving room for anyone to take, layer, reshape, and style each piece according to their own taste. After all, the most interesting part of getting dressed is making something feel like your own.

Filipinos today are getting more expressive with the way they dress, treating the outfit as less of a necessity and more of an extension of who they are. There’s a growing instinct to plan a fit around the occasion – whether that means putting together something that matches the energy of an event, or deliberately going against the grain just to stand out. It’s in the unexpected pairings, the louder silhouettes, and the pieces that feel distinctly personal where style starts to become its own language.

And despite the country’s rapidly shifting weather, the people aren’t exactly backing down from the layers. Jackets over everything and carefully stacked accessories still make their way into the rotation, even when the forecast says otherwise. If anything, it shows just how much thought goes into putting a look together, which in essence matches the whole ethos of Uniqlo U.

Whether dripped in sweat or in the rain, the drip that they put on is what matters.

As of this writing, it’s now available for the fashion forward MFers in the Metro that love to dress up to each function they go to.

You can grab those pieces that fit yours over at their special website before they run out, cause that’s more likely to happen than the pieces running out of style.
