Bonifacio Global City’s annual art festival, Art BGC 2014, concluded with a bang! The theme: Music in Art, Music is art, left everyone with a spring in their step and a thirst for more public artworks.

One of the highlights this month included Rag-bombed Tree Installations by the artisans of Rags II Riches. They added a burst of color and sound to once ordinary walks. Young and old rolled out blankets to sing along to their favorite musical movies under the stars. BGC Art Tour guide Dee Jae Pa’este took visitors through murals and installations throughout the city. Tourists also got down and dirty at the mosaic-making workshop with Craft MNL. The entire festival was topped off with The Hopdown: Dancing in the Moonlight – a 50s outdoor dance party with enough booths, games, costumes, prizes, and music to last the dancers until midnight.

Chalk art activities, BGC Art Mart, BGC Impromptu, new installations and murals rounded up ART BGC 2014. Look out for more creative activities this year.
