The Playground is a celebration of basketball, hip-hop, and the urban street culture. This ain’t just another event. It’s a lifestyle showcase that features four elements:
• STREET HOOPS – Highlight of the event will be 3-on-3 basketball tournament that will determine who owns the streets of Manila.
• KICKS and then some – There will be an indoor urban street convention wherein various street brands – both clothing and merchandise will be selling their products. Paying homage to the street, present during the event is a Pop up Tattoo parlor and Barber shop.
• BEATS – Manila’s hottest DJs and hip-hop acts will be present and serving fresh beats throughout the day.
• GRUB – To cater to your limitless appetite, a parade of food trucks will be ready to serve you with mouth watering food and refreshments.
The Playground is an exciting 2 day event highlighting Hip hop Street culture, Basketball, Music & Urban Lifestyle. The venue will be designed in a way that resembles New York’s “Rucker Park”. street signs, steel fences, crowd bleachers and basketball courts will be on point. Aside from that, street wear brands and sneaker vendors will showcase their coolest products for sale during the event.
