The Museum and Observation Point for the local avian species is located at Villa Franca De Xira in Portugal. Designed by local firm Maisr Arquitetos, it is in the middle of a crop field where many birds call it home. The crops naturally grows thru a series of ramps into the structure which is composed of wood beams, planks and posts woven into latticework all over the walkways. Large bulky foundations with contrasting angled veneer texture alludes an environment of reeds and palisades. It is divided into two wings, a large exhibitions space and conference hall without columns to block the open area. And another wing for their offices that includes the caffeteria and an angular area with a large glass wall for research and observations of the study of fowls.
