39th Anniversary Month of the UP Beta Sigma Ladies’ Corps
The U.P. Beta Sigma Ladies Corps (UP BSLC) is a non-stock, non-profit, socio-civic university-wide and organization based in the University of the Philippines Diliman dedicated in promoting four core principles: Beauty, Service, Leadership, and Commitment.
Over the past 39 years since its inception, UP BSLC has always embodied its principles through organizing various projects and events inside and outside the university imparting diverse advocacies and purposes.
In celebration of its 39th Anniversary, here are the activities set for the month of September, BLAZE 2.0: Women through the Years
September 11, ENODIA: Goddess of Crossroads and Gates, Anniversary Salubong with the fraternity at UP Diliman
September 14, CALLIOPE: Protector of Poem and Rhetoric Art, a Dance Workshop for the Special Children of the Holy Cross Parish – Office of the Persons with Disability
September 19, HYGIEIA: Goddess of Health, Cleanliness and Sanitation, the annual Medical Mission for the residents of the Barangay UP Campus, providing them with free consultation, seminar, and medicines
September 23, HEMERA: Goddess of Daylight, a Grand Pakain at Kamia Residence Hall Parking Lot for the students and employees of the UP community
September 26, EUCLEIA: Ancient Greek Female Spirit of Glory and Good Repute, Anniversary and Induction Ball at Windmills & Rainforest Restaurant, the much awaited reunion of the resident members and alumni from the different chapters of UP
