Nike maximizes the potential of the athletes by offering  yoga workouts as part of the free Nike+ Training Club (NTC) app.

With NTC Yoga, Nike helps athletes increase their physical and metal endurance, strength and mobility, with yoga routines lasting between 15 to 45 minutes. Catering to both beginner and advanced athletes.

“At Nike, our goal is to make people better athletes,” says Nike Master Trainer and yogi Branden Collinsworth. “That’s why we create programming that prepares you for whatever life has to throw at you.” With this goal in mind, Nike partnered with some of the best trainers and yogis to develop the NTC Yoga content, including Branden Collinsworth, Traci Copeland and Leah Kim.

Mobility, Endurance, and Strength

The NTC app offers a variety of yoga workouts selection a user can pick depending on what they think suites them the most. The expert Nike Master Trainers enhanced the yoga routine by merging the three pillars within the NTC training philosophy. NTC Yoga Mobility focuses on restorative yoga workouts to release tension, slow down and recharge, while NTC Yoga Endurance targets yoga flows that build heat, sweat and stamina, and NTC Yoga Strength develops yoga workouts that hold poses for longer to increase muscle strength and power.

Digital

Nike fosters digital innovation to build better experiences to all athletes. Nike continues to update the content of the NTC App in order to serve athletes around the world with the most accessible platform, the digital products. Digital experiences include the Nike+, Nike+ Training Club, Nike+ Run Club and SNKRS apps on iOS and Android. With the newest and greatly enriched yoga content, NTC app now offers 150 workouts ranging from beginner to advanced.

Within the NTC app, users can choose based on the amount of time, style of workout, beginner or advanced, or a complement activity. The shorter-session lengths make yoga convenient for athletes to make it a healthy daily habit. Making the most out of the NTC custom programming would turn yoga to be part of an athlete’s personalized plan. “Now, Nike is not only delivering the best training experience, but we are leading the way in holistic athleticism, once again reinforcing that notion that if you have a body, you’re an athlete and we’re here to help you tap into that,” says Collinsworth.

For those who have the NTC app just type in “yoga” to access the new workouts. The NTC app is also free to download in the app store for those who don’t have it yet. Four new yoga workouts released last June 28. An additional 10 will roll out between July and September.
