Tyler, the Creator’s new LP ‘IGOR’ has claimed the top spot in the Billboard 200 albums chart. The record debuted at No. 1 with 165,000 equivalent album units, selling 74,000 albums and gaining 122 million song streams and counting, according to the New York Times. This is the first time the Odd Future alum has reached the top, since his 2017 album ‘Flower Boy’ came up short at No. 2. What’s more impressive is the fact that he’s the first solo rapper to reach No. 1 for a completely self-produced album.

Reacting to the news, the Rapper took to Twitter to thank his fans, saying:

He can’t seem to control his emotions after the news broke out, too:

The first single from the album ‘EARFQUAKE’, which features rap vocals from Playboy Carti, is now up to 31 million streams on Spotify.
