New York based Australian artist, Jeremyville is set to fly in to Manila for his first show at the Vinyl On Vinyl art gallery this Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 6:00PM. The exhibit will run until June 9, 2015, showcasing his paintings, porcelain sculptures and a few of his Service Announcement prints. There will be a signing during his opening at Vinyl On Vinyl that art lovers can look forward to.
With an Architecture degree from Sydney University, Jeremyville has done collaborations with Nike, Mercedes, LeSportsac, MTV, Disney, Swatch, Diesel, Adidas and recently Uniqlo. Aside from showcasing his work in numerous galleries around the world, Jeremyviile has exhibited at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburg, La Casa Encendida Museum in Madrid, the Madre Museum in Napoli, Colette in Paris, Cappellini in NYC, the 798 Arts District in Beijing, and is in many private collections around the world. Steven Heller, Editor at the New York Times, selected Jeremyville for his book 100 Best Illustrators in the world, by Taschen.
This show will open and run simultaneously with two other shows:

“Sa Mata Ng Ating Kamalayan” by Dennis Bato

Dennis Bato is a young local street artist from Metro Manila and one of the members of the renowned local street art groups, Pilipinas Street Plan. He recently joined as one of the special exhibitors of this year’s Art In The Park and created a Rubik’s Cube Sculpture made of working TV monitors. “Sa Ating Mga Kamalayan” is his first solo show this year and his second solo show with Vinyl on Vinyl. He will be featuring a few oil paintings which will make use of prismatic glasses that will create more depth in the images.

“Urban Modifications” by Rai Cruz

Rai Cruz is another young street artist from Cavite. He is currently working as an art professor in Mapua. He is also part of the Cavite-based street art group CVTY Collective (Cavite Collective). His solo show, Urban Modifications uses acrylic on wood as a medium and using local images as subjects.
